Did you know that there is an area on the second floor of the library completely devoted to teens? That’s right, just teens! So when you come into the library look for the stairs. You can’t miss them. At the top of the stairs the Teens area is straight ahead.
Here’s what you’ll find in the Teens area of the library. Computers that only teens can use, cozy seating areas just for teens and space to work on homework and projects.
You’ll also find over 5,200 fiction and nonfiction titles. We have a great graphic novels/manga collection as well as anime, audio books on cd and teen magazines. If you prefer ebooks, check out our Digital Catalog. Need a little help with that new ereader? Stop by – we have lots of info to get you started.
But, you ask, what if I need help finding a good book or what if I need help finding information for my school project? Well, we’re here to help and “we” can be found at the Library Information Desk which is right next to the Teens area. My name is Sharon and my colleague is Sue. Stop by and say hi.
Now, you say, that sounds great, but what if I can’t get to the library? Well, here’s another option. Check out the Homework Help page under the Teen Services tab. Here you will find lots of links to websites and online resources that we recommend. You will also find a Homework Help form where you can submit your questions to us. We will try to respond within 24 hours. Keep in mind the library is closed on Sundays.
