Teen Banned Book Club (4/1)

Each month, we will read a commonly banned or challenged book and discuss our thoughts. This month, we will be reading Beyond Magenta by Susan Kuklin. The book centers on six young adults from the trans and nonbinary community, who describe their struggles and their triumphs, their feelings and experiences when dealing with their personal identities. They speak of themselves and their community simply, introspectively – and with gravity, warmth and humor.

Grades 9-12 welcome. Snacks will be provided. Registration requested.
